The Quick Guide to Understanding Your Vehicle Cover
A practical guide for customers who have received vehicle warranty cover through their dealer.

If your dealer supplied a warranty with your vehicle, a few simple steps will help you understand and use that cover correctly.
Keep the documents together
Your certificate identifies the warranty supplied to you. The policy terms explain the full rules, including eligibility, covered components, exclusions and the claim process. Keep both documents somewhere accessible.
Check before authorising repairs
If the vehicle develops a fault, follow the claim instructions before agreeing to diagnosis or repair work. Work authorised too early may not follow the process required by the policy.
Have the useful information ready
The claims team may need your policy details, current mileage, service information and evidence from the repairing garage. Supplying the requested evidence clearly helps the team assess the claim.
Understand the service timings
Love Warranty aims to provide a first human response within 24 hours. A decision is made within 72 hours of the evidence requested being submitted. Approved claims are paid within 3 working days.
These are service timings, not a promise that every fault is covered. The certificate and policy terms supplied with your warranty are the full rules.
Ask for help if you cannot access your cover
Use Check my cover to view your documents. If you cannot get in, ask the supplying dealer or contact Love Warranty support. Cover is supplied through participating dealers and is not sold on this website.
